Painting Textures onto 3D Mesh
hi there,
this is my first post here so be gentle with me!
ive recently brought a copy of the extremely awesome Shadermap2 and i have to say my first impressions of it, are that its ace.. and i will be recommending it to everyone:)
i was wondering if you plan on ever implementing any features where you can paint, clone, and project colour textures directly onto your 3d model ( to get rid of seams in your texture ).
i know this may be off topic a bit, but i recently tried to look for some reasonably priced software that simply lets you paint onto your 3d objects to get rid of seams etc.. i know it can be done in Photoshop, and mudbox, 3d coat, zbrush etc.., but to simply paint out seams and paint up textures via projections and cloning from another image source there isn't much about if anything under £300 , so i think there is a gap in the market.
it would be great to have this feature. or even as a stand alone software.
just a thought:) and an idea for a wishlist:)
thanks again for your time

Thanks for your input and suggestion. I'll add it to the wishlist. It may show up as an add-on down the road.
