Batch Process - Setting the Output Filename Format?
Hi,
Possibly missed this in the manual, but how do you change the file names when doing batch processing?
By default the save dialogue shows:
source+filename_norm
so I end up with say: blah.tga.blah_norm.tga
Which means I can't import directly into the UDK because .'s are considered illegal characters.
If worst comes to worst I can always use a batch renamer program, but I'd prefer to change it from within SM2 prior to batch export.
So just wondering how you do it?
Thanks,
Chief

Hi Chief. There's not currently a way to do this. A setting will be added to fix this in an upcoming release. Until then you may need to use a batch renamer application.

has the naming issue been looked at yet and hopefully solved?
I have a hard time here since I recieved naming conventions that I strictly must obey...
