Can ShaderMap 2.1 Soften Seams?

I was curious if it might be possible in ShaderMap 2.0.7 (or someday in the future) to soften the harsh seams using any of the brushes?

Though painting is currently limited to only on the normals and only in the Normal Editor, wouldn't it be very cool if you could also paint a particular material in the Material Visualizer to try and mitigate the harsh seam edges of the UV? :)
